Proper after care during the first few weeks following your procedure is crucial in order to achieve the best results. Understand that this is a two step process and that some unevenness of color is to be expected. This is the purpose of your touch-up visit!

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Tobi at 646 382-8819

*Expect that treated areas may or may not be tender for the next few days.
*Eyeliner may or may not be puffy for a day or two. Cold, wet cotton pads, soaked in distilled water may be applied to reduce swelling. Chill pads in a new ziplock bag in the fridge  and gently lay them over your eyes without pressing. You may also take Advil or Benadryl if needed.
*Keep the area of pigmentation lightly moist with the after care product  given to you.

*Do not substitute petroleum based products such as Vaseline, (Petroleum jelly), A & D ointment, Neosporin or Bacitracin.  Don’t over apply!  For eyeliner you can use a new Q-Tip or micro Q-Tip. DO NOT scrape the Q-Tip directly across your tattooed color, place it just above on your upper eyeliner and just below on your lower eyeliner.  Your body heat will melt and move over your new liner to protect it and keep it moist until it is healed. Do not apply to your tear duct as this may result in infection. Apply  2-3 times a day (morning, night, and once or twice in between) for a minimum of 7 days.

*When the crust forms on the pigmented surface, do not force removal by scratching or rubbing. The pigment might be removed along with the crust. Be gentle and let it heal and fall off without your help. Some itching is normal.

*DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR SCRATCH the treated area or your color may heal unevenly.

*Do not expose the area that’s healing, to dirty or unsanitary conditions like the gym, gardening etc. Wearing glasses outdoors is a good way to protect new eyeliner from dust, etc.

*Only touch your healing area with a finger wrapped in a clean tissue when in a public place- and only if it is driving you crazy!!!  Don’t rub, just touch the area lightly to relieve an itch that you can’t bear!
*It is normal for your tattooed color to heal 30-50% lighter than how it looks when you leave.  If you can be patient, the end results are very natural and worth waiting for.

*You may resume wearing your contact lenses in approximately 24 hrs.
*DO NOT apply makeup on or to close to new tattoo until it is healed! Make-up can be like a petri dish loaded with bacteria which could cause infection.

*After your eyeliner is healed it is PLEASE start with brand new mascara!

*You may want to tint your eyelashes black before you have the procedure done. This will not lengthen or thicken like mascara does, but they will be nice and dark for about 3 to 4 weeks.

*Do not use an eyelash curler for 3 weeks

*DO NOT USE Latisse or any other lash growth serum!  Discontinue until 4 weeks after your touch up session and your eyeliner or brows are complete. These products may cause your pigment color to bleed or migrate.
*Do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, tanning beds, hot tubs, saunas, steam, salt water, chlorinated pools, direct shower spray, skin creams, ointments or lotions other than your after care product until your liner has flaked away.
*Do not resume any method of hair removal for at least 4 weeks after your new brows.
